FACTS TO CONSIDER BEFORE CHOICE OF SCHOOL

Over the years, a lot of admission seekers have been faced with a very important question when they are about to fill the JAMB form.
This single question has been causing a lot of disagreement between parents and their wards. This question is the choice of school when filling out the form. It always appeared that most students prefer to apply to a university where their friends are, or a school where they are free from the prying eyes of their parents. Parents on the other hand, would always love their kids to study in a nearby school so they can keep watch of their wards.

Choosing a school is a one time big task and the process can really be overwhelming. There are a lot of factors or variables that must be considered before choice of school. Since you're going to spend up to four, five years plus of your life in the confinement of an educational block should be given due consideration.

UNIVERSITY ADMISSION SCAMMERS- BEWARE!

This is a warning to all students who wrote WAEC, NECO, GCE or its equivalence and are hopefully waiting for the school screening exercise to remain vigilant and steadfast
as some internet fraudsters are on the loose to feast on their prey. This warning goes to candidates who are admitted already as well as those who are awaiting admission.

It has come to our notice that a lot of miscreants who parade themselves as admission officers, jamb official or school staff and offer to admit students or claims to know someone who can give offer an admission slot. They often come in form of having you call a number which definitely belongs to one of their cronies in the guise to offer you an admission slot.

UNIVERSITY SCREENING REQUIREMENTS

Following the directive given by JAMB to all Nigerian universities to speed up their admission process before the stipulated deadline given.
Initially, most schools were reluctant to follow the new directive and resorted into their traditional method of admission. With JAMB unwavering stand on no more post utme, some schools have already complied meanwhile some are at loggerheads with JAMB.

This new method of screening policy was adopted by JAMB to make admission process transparent and that to ensure that the number of exams taken before one is admitted to study in the university is reduced.
